Rokmarkt – Explicit Consent for Processing and Transfer of Personal Data

This text has been prepared in accordance with the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") and applies only to data processing activities which require your explicit consent and are not based on other legal grounds (such as performance of a contract, fulfilment of legal obligations, or legitimate interests).
Your basic use of the Platform (creating an account, listing game accounts, contacting other users, etc.) is generally carried out on the basis of performance of the user agreement and Rokmarkt's legitimate interests, as explained in the User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and KVKK Information Notice. You are not required to give explicit consent for these core operations.
The explicit consent below is fully optional. Refusing to give consent – or withdrawing it later – does not prevent you from using the core features of the Platform. You can withdraw your explicit consent at any time by sending an e-mail to support@rokmarkt.com or via the tools provided in your account settings.
A) Explicit Consent for Marketing / Campaign Communications
I hereby give my explicit consent for the following personal data:
- Identity / account data: username, platform account identifiers
- Contact data: e-mail address
- Transaction / preference data: my general interests on the Platform, favourites, listings I create, and summary data related to listings I have viewed or interacted with
- Usage data: statistical information about how often I use the Platform and which game/service categories I am interested in
to be processed (recorded, stored, updated, analysed, profiled and categorized) and shared with Rokmarkt's service providers, where other legal grounds under Article 5 of KVKK are not sufficient, for the purposes of:
- Sending me campaigns, announcements, feature updates and similar marketing communications,
- Preparing customized announcements and suggestions based on my interests (including limited profiling),
- Measuring satisfaction with Rokmarkt's intermediary services and conducting surveys and research,
- Managing Rokmarkt's own marketing and promotional activities in relation to its intermediary platform services.
Giving this consent for marketing communications is entirely at my discretion. If I do not consent, I can still use the main membership and intermediary functions of the Platform.
B) Explicit Consent for Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data
Rokmarkt may from time to time rely on service providers located outside of Türkiye (such as e-mail delivery providers, cloud hosting providers, log/analytics vendors, etc.) to operate the Platform, store data securely and send e-mails.
In this context, I hereby give my explicit consent for my personal data, including identity, contact, transaction, usage and log data, to be transferred abroad in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK, to:
- Infrastructure, hosting, e-mail, security and logging service providers located in Türkiye and/or abroad,
- Solely for the purposes of providing such services, ensuring the operation and security of systems, and performing backup activities.
I understand that I can withdraw this explicit consent at any time by contacting support@rokmarkt.com or via the available opt-out mechanisms in my account, and that withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.
C) Withdrawal of Consent and My Rights
Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, I acknowledge that I have the right to apply to Rokmarkt and:
- Learn whether my personal data are processed,
- Request information regarding such processing,
- Learn the purposes of processing and whether they are used in line with these purposes,
- Learn the third parties to whom the personal data are transferred, within Türkiye or abroad,
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- Request the deletion or destruction of personal data under the conditions set forth in KVKK,
- Request notification of these operations to third parties to whom the data have been transferred,
- Object to results arising against me from analysis of my personal data exclusively via automated systems,
- Request compensation for damages in case I suffer damage due to unlawful processing of my personal data,
and that, within this scope, I may withdraw my explicit consent at any time without providing any justification.
